As some of you may have noticed the EXOMUT homepage has had a major make-over. After many years of making small changes to the site. I decided it was time for a more modern look and feel. The old layout was similar to a traditional website from 10 or more years ago.
The new site is now more responsive to smartphones and tables. It will automatically change layouts to fit the size of your screen better.
The color scheme of our school has always been mainly blue with a bit of orange. I tried to stay with those colors, but also added a hint of purple to compliment the blue.
On top of all of that, I decided the logo needed an update as well. So I opened up my favorite 3D modeling software–Blender–and got to work converting the original flat 2D logo into a 3D one. I will write another blog about 3D modeling another day.
There are still some pages to convert, bugs, and issues that need to be solved, but over all the hard part is done.
