“おにごっこ” in English is “Tag.”
Tag is an outdoor game loved by children all over the world. The person who has to chase after the other children is called, “It.” When the player who is “It” touches another player, he/she will yell out, “Tag! You’re It!”
There are many different versions of Tag; one of the more popular versions of Tag is “Freeze Tag.” In Freeze Tag, the person who is It freezes the other players. So if you are touched, you have to stop; you can’t move. Your teammates can unfreeze you by touching you. The game is over when all of the players are frozen or when everyone is too tired to play.
