Well we all made it through another very difficult year! There have been many hardships throughout the past few years because of COVID. However, we are all still moving forward one step at a time.
A new year feels like a clean slate, so it is the perfect time to set some goals for self improvement called resolutions.
Many people choose resolutions related to health, school, work, and relationships. Gyms tend to be crowded in America with so many people joining because of their New Years resolution to finally get in shape.
I have narrowed my resolutions down to 3 main ones. They are pretty standard but very important things to focus on.
Stay Healthy
With a broken arm last year, I really noticed the importance of physical health. That is why I will try to eat a bit more healthy foods and exercise a little more that I used to.
Learn New Skills
This is on my list every year. I love learning new things. Programming, languages, art… You name it and I am interested in it. So in connection with my first resolution, maybe I will learn something more physical this year. Such as a sport.
Improve Relationships
Family, friends, students, coworkers, and even strangers. I need to be more empathetic and understanding of other people’s feelings. Communicating more and smiling more is the key to a healthy relationship.
Well, what are your resolutions? I hope you never give up and can follow through with your goals! Good luck and have a happy New Year!
