One of my many hobbies is 3D art and modeling. I have been trying to make the site look nicer and in the process I have rekindled my passion of art.
When working in 3D design there are a lot of choices for software. When I first got started in 3D I used Sketch Up. It was a wonderful software for modeling real-life things like tables, rooms, and so much more. Unfortunately, they got bought out by another company and changed their prices.
After a lot of research I ended up choosing “Blender” as a replacement. The first time I tried it, I was overwhelmed with the software and gave up. Then after the Blender 2.8 update I gave it another chance and after awhile it clicked. Now I really enjoy using it.
Blender is extremely versatile. It can be used for website art, game art, 3D animations, 2D animations, video editing, etc.. Windows, Mac, and even Linux are supported, so be sure to give it a try. Amazingly, it is free!
